4.4 EQ Eight 4: Treating Resonant Peaks with Audition Mode

As you've already seen, EQ Eight is an amazing tool. Up until this point we have used EQ to treat broad frequency ranges and mainly change the overall tone of a track. EQ Eight, along with most all modern parametric EQs can also address other sound issues like the one we are about to explore. The issue I'm speaking to is resonant peaks or resonant frequencies within tracks. Resonant peaks are areas in a waveform where a single frequency is ringing out. EQ Eight has some features under the hood that help us identify these frequencies and eliminate them.
